Thank you to everyone who helped to stop the jobs tax and protect San Diego’s jobs and economy! On March 4, the San Diego City Council voted to rescind the 375-750 percent tax increase and find an alternative solution to funding affordable housing in the City. The Council's vote was in response to nearly 53,000 signatures which the Jobs Coalition turned in on January 22nd to repeal the measure. The Jobs Coalition is committed to working with City Council, Mayor Faulconer, the Housing Commission and others to find alternative solutions over the next few months.
